What to do Bonaire our Favorites

What to do on Bonaire: Our Favorites!
Bonaire is a fantastic location for a sun-drenched holiday. There is plenty to see and experience on the island thanks to its rich history, beautiful nature, and the amazing underwater world. David and Cisca Rietveld, the management behind Delfins Beach Resort, are happy to tell you their favorite things to do on Bonaire.
Diving on Bonaire
"That it - still! - is so beautiful to dive on Bonaire is thanks to the fact that a large part of Bonaire is a protected nature reserve. The view is incredible and over 470 different types of fish and turtles can be spotted. Make sure you always have your flippers and your mask with you, because you can just walk and dive at over 80 shore diving spots”, says David. "All dive sites are marked with yellow stones and vary in difficulty. I like to dive at 1000-steps on my way to the village of Rincon. They are actually just 72 steps. The entrance to the dive site is easy and the reef accommodates beautiful coral formations that are shallow. This makes the place also very suitable for snorkelers. I also like to do boat diving with our partner Divefriends Bonaire. Soon this will even be possible directly from the pier at Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire. "
Spotting Dolphins on Bonaire
Cisca continues: "From our resort, you can walk straight into the sea towards our house reef, a great dive and snorkeling spot to see the most exotic fish. You can also spot fish from your sun bed: dolphins regularly swim along the coast of Delfins Beach Resort! That is actually how we choose our name because Delfins means dolphin in our local language. "
Rent Electric Cars on Bonaire
You can also rent Suzuki Jimny's at Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire. The Suzuki Jimny is compact, but a real 4x4. A two-seater with a large cargo area and luggage rack. The high wheels can easily pass through shallow water and you can also enter the national park, Washington Slagbaai, without any problem.

Bonus: What To Do On Bonaire
Cisca: "Bonaire is perfect to enjoy a wonderful sun holiday. Besides snorkeling and diving, it is also nice to discover the island. Look for flamingos at Goto Lake, visit an old aloe vera plantation or book the water taxi to the uninhabited Klein Bonaire. "
