Check in & Check out

  • When can I check in?

    You can check in from 3pm.

  • What time is check out?

    You must check out by 11 am on your scheduled day of departure.

  • Can I check out after 11am?

    Want to enjoy a lie in? We offer a late check-out service (subject to availability). This service does incur a charge as follows and can only be requested 24 hours before departure.


    For guests who have stayed in a studio or apartment 1-bedroom there is a $20 surcharge for each additional hour. The earliest late check out time is 4pm. 


    For guests who have stayed in a apartment 2-bedroom, penthouse, or villa there is a $35 surcharge for each additional hour. The earliest late check out time is 4pm. 

  • Can we leave our luggage somewhere on our day of departure?

    Sure! Our Front Office will be happy to assist you with this. On the day of departure, don’t forget you can pick up a towel at the reception, so that you can have a swim, take a shower in our dedicated check out room, and board the plane fresh.

  • Can I book an airport transfer with you?

    Yes, you can book your transfer to/from Flamingo Airport for $20 per person (return).

Bonaire

  • What language is spoken on Bonaire?

    Dutch is one of the official languages. The locals also speak Papiamentu and/or Spanish. In addition, almost everyone speaks English.

  • Can I drink tap water on Bonaire?

    Yes, the tap water on Bonaire is high quality and safe to drink.

  • What payment methods are used on Bonaire?

    On Bonaire, we pay with US dollars. There are plenty of ATM machines and credit cards are also accepted in many places. Don’t forget to put your debit card on global coverage!

  • What is the best way to explore the island?

    We offer transportation for every budget, from scooters to pickups. It is advisable to book this in advance. Please contact our Excursions & Rental agent for prices and information.

  • Is there a visitor entry tax to enter Bonaire?

    Yes, when you visit Bonaire, you must pay a tourist tax of $75 per person. You can do this in advance or upon arrival. Click here to pay the tourist tax in advance and receive the QR code.

  • What is the STINAPA nature fee and how do I purchase it?

    The sea around Bonaire belongs to the Bonaire National Marine Park. This park, along with the Washington Slagbaai Park, is protected by the organization STINAPA. The organization ensures that marine life remains intact for everyone to enjoy. 


    If you want to visit the Washington Slagbaai Park or take part in water sports on Bonaire, you will have to buy a STINAPA Nature Fee. Without this Nature Fee, you are not allowed to dive, snorkel, swim, etc.

  • How often is my accommodation cleaned during my stay?

    At Delfins, we ensure your stay is always fresh and comfortable. Our housekeeping team visits Monday through Saturday to keep your accommodation - whether you're staying in a studio, apartment, penthouse, or residence - in perfect condition.

    · Trash removal

    · Floor or bathroom refreshed as needed

  • Can I charge my 110v or 220v devices?

    Every room has at least one 220-volt socket, so if you want to charge multiple devices simultaneously, we advise you to bring a universal adapter. 110-volt sockets are also available.

  • Is there a hairdryer and/or ironing board in the room?

    In every bathroom is a hairdryer available. An ironing board is available upon request!

  • Can I smoke at the resort or in my room?

    Smoking is strictly prohibited in all of our rooms, however smoking is permitted outside.

  • Are there wheelchair-friendly rooms?

    Our Studios are wheelchair friendly. Upon request we have rooms available in our D Building. Please let us know in advance you need a wheelchair-friendly room! We'd love to make your stay as relaxed as possible.

  • Is there a coffee maker in the room?

    Yes, a Nespresso coffee maker comes as standard in all rooms.

  • Is there a currency exchange in the resort?

    Unfortunately, no. If you need to exchange money, you can do this at a local bank, a 10-minute drive away. We recommend that you do not bring euros with you, but instead withdraw money from an ATM. Don’t forget to activate your bank card for global coverage!

  • Is there a laundry service?

    Yes, washing and drying services are available in the resort. Please ask at reception for more details.

  • Are pets allowed at the resort?

    Pets are not allowed at our resort. Service animals, however, are permitted, as long as we are informed in advance and provided with official proof that the animal is a service animal. The resort may charge additional cleaning fees for service animals, typically ranging from $150 to $250 per stay.

  • I would like to eat at Brass Boer. Can I make a reservation?

    Certainly! Brass Boer Bonaire is open Monday to Saturday.

  • Are the restaurants also accessible to non-resort guests?

    Yes, all our restaurants are open to outside guests. Whether you're in the mood for a full dinner, a casual lunch, or just a drink, everyone is welcome.


    Please note: On Sundays, the resort is exclusively for resort guests, including the restaurants.
