 At Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire, we welcome our guests with open arms. We help them embrace our resort and the island in all its facets. You may soon play a crucial role in that. Due to our new restaurant we are looking for a:

Sous-Chef

You will give taste, smell and color to our new restaurant. Here we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, offer pool service, host attractive events in our event center and serve delicious coffee in our coffee bar where we also sell fresh bread daily. You will support the Head Chef in the development of the menus and recipes involved and take care of purchasing. You motivate the kitchen brigade by making the kitchen their second home. With plenty of room for job satisfaction, but at the same time with a keen eye for quality, fast service and financial results. 

• You have experience as an independent working chef and are ready for the next step.
• You have hospitality in your DNA, know the value of quality and pay attention to every detail.
• You explore new flavors and techniques and can translate them into our menus.
• You do your job with a smile, are solution-oriented and know how to motivate your team.
• You communicate with service staff to ensure impeccable service.
• You are proud of our resort and want to work to build our good name.
• You are cost conscious and can prepare tasty dishes efficiently.
• You know and act on food safety, health and safety, hygiene requirements.
• You work at varying times, including evenings and weekends.
• You speak Dutch or English - knowledge of Papiamentu and Spanish is welcome.
